July 2009 - Recession? What recession? At Peverel Pools we have been flat out with more refurb work and new build pools with very high specifications
2008 - A very difficult year all round. The pool business has been hit hard with some very established names going down. Peverel Pools contunues to flourish as we do not have the crippling overheads of some of the bigger companies
June 2008 - Our most spectacular transformation so far. An ancient concrete pool (50 yrs+) with no circulation, neglected for 20 years, with more vegetation then the South American rainforest Refurbishment
November 2007 - We complete 2 of our most ambitious projects to date
a) Our first complete indoor pool with fully heated and ventilted log cabin pool house.Indoor Pool
b) A Sunquest 36 with all the trimmings, including hydraulic safety cover, Calorex heat pump and supplementary electric heater.
July 2007 - We complete a major refurbishment of a public paddling pool, installing its first pumping and filtration system, the pool having been built in the 1950's. It was lined in-situ with a four coat fibreglass system supplied and installed by Sui Generis International Ltd of Colchester. It was finished off with custom made coping stones from Selnac Stone Ltd of Battle in Sussex, and an area of block paving to reduce the amount of foot bourne debris being carried into the pool Refurbishment
February 2006 - AT LAST! a sensibly prices automatic cleaner. We now have availability of the Cruiser C400 Automatic Vacuum Cleaner for the fantastic price of only £266.95. This is around half the price of the established brands but suffers no loss of performance. Pool Servicing
January 2006 - Further pages added to show our extensive refurbishment capability. Refurbishment
June 2005 - We have now gained further experience of installation of Safety Covers. These almost seal the pool when not in use keeping out leaves and other debris but most importantly providing complete safety, preventing anyone from falling into the pool. Safety Covers
May 2005 - Saw us on show again at Ingatestone Hall, this time at the Home Design and Interiors exhibition
February 2005 - Reply forms re-activated. For some reason at the last update the reply form stopped functioning correctly. It has now been fixed so if you completed a reply or feedback form between 28th Dec 2004 and 27th Feb 2005, please accept our apologies for the error and resend your enquiry.
December 2004 - Just prior to Christmas, saw our first delivery of the new Sunquest 36 from Sundance Pools. A pool which addresses the need for a larger pool while still being transportable on UK roads The Sunquest 36
July 2004 - We have now established a relationship with Sundance pools to provide a broader range and improved availability. You can view their UK website by clicking here
April 2004 - We now have our own range of pool chemicals available for immediate delivery.
We have also added a page for servicing complete with a link to a superb, independent website which gives excellent guidance on swimming pool chemistry
February 2004 - Spatex trade show at Brighton and we take the opportunity to add some notable products to our range;
- Safety covers are becoming ever more popular to provide a single, simple all-year round cover solution. These offer convenience and reduce the need for fencing. We are now able to offer a quality product at reasonable cost.
- Attracted by the "Big Brother" style of Wooden Pool? They are available either fully installed or in kit form from as little as £4199.
December 2003 - Work begins on our first 'Elaine' installation.
June 2003 - Display model now on permanent display at the Ingatestone Garden Centre, Roman Road, Ingatestone. See Home
May 2003 - On display at the International Homes Show in Brentwood
